Here's the interesting thing to me: I work at a convention bureau, and we're bidding for a Parliament of World Religions to be held in our city. We're treating it as super-important, so I'm guessing it's going to involve a lot of delegates and a lot of money. So we'll have this huge collection of people whose jobs are only credible if backed by the authority of God meeting together - but who can't possibly be treating each other as credible for that very reason. What do they even have to say to each other? |
