Beautiful post. I think this is the same effect that makes games seem real as well: the sense that there is a deeper reality than you can see (or know of), one that feels real/magical, and one that is objective (in a sense). This is a great benefit to having a GM and is one of the things, I think, that makes the "magical GM" well, magical. -Marco |
