Your difficult player is invested in his idea of "historical accuracy" (and, I infer, in using that as a club to advantage his guy), and you're invested in the atmosphere of horror you're trying to build. Certainly, the mechanisms of CoC push players and keepers into those corners, and as a result there isn't anywhere to stand that's above the fray and able to make an impartial decision. |
