What I love about Joshua is what drives me nuts in Graham. I can't stop Graham from driving me nuts without also stopping Joshua from saying hilarious shit that cracks me up. Just like you don't invite just anyone to your party, or to your game session, don't invite everyone to your forum, if you want to foster a particular kind of community.

Of course, if you care more about numbers of people participating than the quality of their participation, in all cases, go for open invite.
