A simulationist might read the bible and see it as an ideal way to live, that we should try to replicate as closely as possible.

A narrativist might see the morals of the bible stories—as the important part.

A gamist might see the bible's admonitions as good outside-boundaries—and consider any behavior not forbidden, to be fair play.

I'm not trying to to push some pet theory or religious agenda here.  I'm seriously just asking if I've got it right.
