OOOPS!

You count the sides to determine whose dice are bigger.

d12 d6 is IN NO WAY lower than d10 d8. It is, in fact, equal to d10 d8.

I said it was lower because I am DUMB.

So, in general, you're best off with a high disparity between your dice -- d12 d4 is most efficient.

This makes G go "Not for Ties"
That's not completely true, since you use the lower die for ties and so want the lower die to be as high as possible then. But for getting onto the "we owe" list, that seems correct. I suspect the latter out-values the former (since it's tricky to do a lot with a tie, as you'll often lose the re-roll), but I'm really not certain one way or the other.

This makes BL go "Look at your figures again"
Even if all the ties go to the closer pair of dice, the more disparate pair already wins more than %50 of the time.

This makes G go "Ties"
My figures did not evaluate ties fully (that is, I call anything where the higher dies match a 'tie' and ignore the lower die as a tiebreaker). If the lower die is brought into things, then having a larger die as your smaller die (if you take my meaning) is good; it will mean your lower die is higher more often so you will win more ties. But it will also mean your total sides is higher so you'll get "owed" less often. (I can re-do my figures with ties, but that's a considerable added complexity. I'll give it a try, though.)
