If you've ever had people tear your game apart and help you build it anew (I'm thinking Cold City here, for one, and will try to find the thread & link it), you know what kind of work is needed and helpful in gaming criticism and critical playtesting. It's not the magic of having Ron or Vincent or Clinton or, heck, Robin Laws, talk about your game.
