But that loops back to my notion that religion is defined by reverence for a mystery, and the way in which I have heard serious Jewish scholars speak of Midrash, of the respect given to those who have contributed to it, of the way of posing alternatives and framing disputes...well, my brain sort of just moves that way, so I dig it.
