Not sure if this is the right place to suggest a movie, but ... the recent Thin Red Line. Apparently, I remain the only guy on the planet who adores this movie, but I think it has bits relevant to Red Sky A.M. as I understand the concept.

But yes, relevant for sure. I found it sledgehammery - I guess I prefer my anti-war movies to be Full Metal Jacket.
