Every NPC gets associated with, or is a representative of, one of the five peoplethingies.
This makes BtF go "folk!"
Folk of the fields, folk of the sword, etc.
This makes Chris go "Lots?"
As in, drawing lots, your lot in life, and the idea of owning property (where we got the previous turn of phrase from?)
